American Academy of Ballet Performance Awards
The American Academy of Ballet (A.A.B.) has a Performance Award program that Dance Studio No. 1 participates in annually. The Awards are a series of distinctive choreographic compositions over 12 levels that students perform before an audience of parents and friends. The 12 levels are progressively more challenging thus providing an opportunity to participate for beginner through advanced dancers. A judge from the A.A.B. travels to our Studio for the Performance Awards and each student receives a medal and a certificate for their efforts. Performance Awards are held annually at the end of the summer. (For more information about A.A.B. Performance Awards, please visit www.american-academy-of-ballet.com. )
